St Peter's Choir
St Peter's has an old choral tradition going back a century. The choir is small nowadays and we would welcome more members: all voices, especially alto and bass.
The repertoire is extensive, ranging from Merbecke to Darke in F and includes Harwood in D and A Flat *, and lesser known but fine composers such as Cocker and Selbyn. The choir members are enthusiastic and lively and learn music quickly.
The organ is a fine 3-manual Hunter / Willis of the 1880s and 1920s.
Anyone interested in singing and helping us maintain a good choral repertoire should get in touch with the Organist, Michael Neville, on 01982 553 717 or 07969 858 725.
